Meizu has released a new product: Meizu Max. It aims at the business market of young people. And it has a new design with a white pull-packaging. At this article, I will do a review of it. The content involves four parts, including appearance design, configuration, battery and specifications.
Appearance Design
Meizu Max is configured with a 6-inch 1080*1920 resolution screen with 2.5D glasses, and the screen density is 368PPI. Because of the big screen, it does not provide super good visual experience, especially when you watch it a long time. It offers four colors options, including gray, silver, champagne gold and pink gold.
Someone may say that Meizu Max is the larger version Meizu E. Exactly, both of them have the similar designs, especially in the aspect of the back cover. As the same of Meizu E phone, Meizu Max adopts the three-stage design on the back cover that it uses the overall aluminum material with two injection molding processing antennas up and down.
Configuration
It is powered by an Octa-core 64 bit Helio P10 MT6755M processor along with a Mali T860 MP2 GPU for graphics. This CPU features low energy consumption and practical performance. And the GPU can basically meet the performance needs of everyday use, especially in playing 3D games. Besides, it packs in a 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Except for that, it features dual card dual standby, 4G+ network, VoLTE calls, mTouch fingerprint recognition, mBack interaction, etc.
In terms of the camera configuration, it comes with dual cameras of a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. By the way, the rear camera is configured with a Sony IMX258 image sensor with PDAF phase focusing technology.
Battery
It may be the fastest charging Meizu phone, which carries maximum 24W power charger with fast charging technology. And it is built in a 4100 mAh battery. This is considered as a moderate level battery capacity in today's 6 inches phones.
